Non Surgical Root Canal
Root Canals or Non-Surgical Root Canal Therapy is a procedure designed to attempt to save a tooth with an infected nerve. The nerve is removed, the internal structure is cleaned and attempted to be sterilized, and then it is filled with a soft, specialized material called Gutta Percha. The seals the newly aseptic tooth to the bone and a successful procedure will allow that tooth to be maintained painlessly for years.
Our practice utilizes a special sealer to place the Gutta Percha within the tooth. This material is called bioceramics and has been used in successful orthopedic surgeries for years.
